Teeth Whitening Solutions Can Improve How Attractive You Are

Teeth Whitening
Cosmetic dentistry can improve a person’s smile and teeth whitening is one of the first places to start.  Recent studies have demonstrated why it is important to have a beautiful smile and how it can impact the way people perceive you.  Oral-B completed a detailed study which determined that people with a beautiful smile are thought to be 20 percent more attractive than those without.  Their study also showed that a beautiful smile can make someone look five years younger.  A beautiful smile can be achieved with a trip to our dentist office.

Additional studies have also make the link between a beautiful smile and overall attractiveness.  A Match.com poll found that out of 5,000 men and women, a beautiful smile was the most attractive quality a person could have.  That confirms what Oral-B found and demonstrates the important role dentistry can have in a person’s life.  However, success is more than simply looking attractive.  Being attractive has to have benefits in order to matter.  The University of California tied it all together by publishing a report that found attractive people made 12 percent more than the general population in addition to being perceived as a better team player and more helpful.  Apparently being attractive is just as important in your career as it is your personal life.

We provide an easy way for people to improve their smile.  Teeth whitening is a simple solution because it is affordable, pain-free, and can be done as convenient.  In order to get started, schedule an appointment so that we can take a mold of your mouth.  This mold will be used so that the dental lab can create a plastic teeth whitening tray that fits securely around your teeth.  This is an important step because it prevents any whitening solution from leaking out of your mouth.

Once the trays are completed, they should be worn at night with the whitening solution.  They only need to be worn for a couple of hours a night for about a week.  This is an excellent option for people who want to control how white their teeth become.  Once the desired shade is reached, simply stop using them.  This prevents teeth from becoming too bright for your preference. The entire process is easy and the trays can be kept and used again at any time, which makes them ideal for people who like to travel, are going away to college, or constantly gone on business.

There are also drug store solutions that are available but we do not recommend them.  Teeth whitening trays and gels that are sold in the store are not customized for an individual’s teeth but are rather a one size fits all solution.  The problem is that no teeth are the same, so this creates a situation where many people find the process uncomfortable and end up with whitening gel leaking into their mouth.  They also only whiten teeth by about two shades, instead of eight which can be achieved professionally.
Teeth whitening can improve your appearance by making you look younger and more attractive so schedule your appointment today.
